Big 3 Soccer believes the best way for modern youth athletes to find success on the field is by our approach to coaching & training: by players for players. Big 3 aims to provide each player with the technical skills necessary for future success in a fun and creative environment. It is our goal that all players not only find a passion for the game, but also find comfort with the ball. With our team of coaches, we are confident that the players will succeed and improve in every way possible on and off the field.

Coach Alyssa Plowman
Tournament Director/Head Coach
Alyssa is excited to bring her experience and expertise of the game of soccer to Big 3 beginning this summer. Alyssa was a four-year varsity soccer player at Lebanon High School located in Lebanon Ohio. Throughout her high school career, Alyssa helped lead the Warriors to 4 GWOC Championships. Alyssa lead her team in goals and assists her sophomore and junior year and was expected to do the same her senior year before an ACL injury prevented her from those achievements. Though she had ACL reconstruction surgery she was still committed to playing collegiate soccer. Alyssa started her college career in Nashville Tennessee playing for Lipscomb University, she then moved 30 minutes north and played for 2 years at Austin Peay State University, there she played in every game and recorded 3 goals and 2 assists. For her last and final year Alyssa made her move to Lebanon, Illinois to play for the Mckendree Bearcats. At Mckendree, Alyssa helped the team get ahold of the GLVC title for the first time in bearcat history.

Brooke Coakley
Tournament/Marketing Director
Brooke comes from a huge soccer community and has had experience in training kids of all ages since she was 15 years old. She has worked with multiple club teams, and helped coach and train younger Scott Gallagher teams for the national leagues and tournaments. Brooke has experience coaching speed training sessions at Elite Fitness Training in Glen Carbon, IL. She has also worked ID camps for Lipscomb University (D1), McKendree University (D2), & Austin Peay University (D1). Brooke will be a great asset to the program with 18 years of soccer experience, 8 years of coaching and training both boys & girls, and 5 years’ experience in the business world
(Accounting, HR, Marketing, & Safety Training).
Highlights from Brooke's soccer career:
Brooke was on the first women’s sports team at GCHS to win a state title. She had the game winning assist to win their first State Title at Granite City High School, as a starting varsity sophomore. Her first year of college she played at a small D1 school in Nashville, Tennessee - Lipscomb University – to which she started and played in every game as an incoming freshmen. Her second year she transferred to Lewis and Clark Community College for dental hygiene, and still continued her soccer career there where she broke the NCAAJ record of 28 assists throughout conference play. She currently holds the title for number one in the nation for assists at the junior college level. Her third and fourth year of college, she played soccer at McKendree University where she helped the team clench the first GLVC Tournament title in Bearcat history, and helped the team make it to the second round of nationals for the first time ever.
