The BIG3 March Madness 3v3 is a thrilling event that brings together young basketball enthusiasts from different parts of the community. This tournament is designed to provide an opportunity for players to showcase their skills, compete, and have fun in a safe and supportive environment.
Tuesday sessions will be used to hone players skills via fundamental drill work and they will have the opportunity to put those skills to use through the scrimmage segement.
On Sundays the 3v3 tournament is played in a half-court setting, with teams consisting of three players and up to two substitutes. The competition takes place over the course of two days, with games lasting 10 minutes each, divided into two 5-minute halves. The tournament format is designed to ensure that every team gets to play multiple games, with the top teams advancing to the playoffs and ultimately the championship game.
The tournament is named "BIG3 March Madness 3v3" in honor of the March Madness college basketball tournament, which is a celebrated event in the basketball world.
