Coach Ruser

 

Coach Ruser has 5 years of experience coaching AAU basketball with players ranging in age from 7-18. Before coaching, Coach Ruser accumulated 12 years of AAU and high school basketball playing experience under an Illinois High School Hall of Fame Head Coach, Tom McCormack of Conant High School. Beginning in 2012, Coach Ruser earned a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in Psychology while focusing his studies on sport and performance psychology, and research on the impact of cognitive imagery on sport performance. Coach Ruser is now working towards earning a Master's Degree in Sport Psychology at California State University, Fresno under a world-renowned faculty of experts in the areas of coaching science, talent development, and mental skills training. Coach Ruser is recognized for presenting research and actively involved in research on cultures of success in high-performance team environments. Coach Ruser is the founder of peakpracticing.com, an informational hub for basketball players to learn more about how to get the most out of their training and practice. He is passionate about putting the players first and helping players of all abilities improve as basketball players and as people!
